Use Hanging Installations to Your Advantage

Use Hanging Installations to Your Advantage
Using a hanging flower installation is one of our favorite ways to add grandeur to any event, be it a holiday celebration or the debut of a new product. It may genuinely provide a WOW! Element and help an event feel more cohesive. When perusing Pinterest and Instagram, the majority of hanging installations feature flowers. But using unusual non-floral features, such feathers, lights, branches, fruit, and more, is a beautiful way to add magnificence and impressiveness to a hanging piece! Below are some of our top hanging installation types to encourage and inspire you:
Unique Hanging Installation
Incorporate a distinctive, non-floral element into your hanging installation to grab notice and pique guests' interest. Their installation provided the background for their bench-centered photo moment at The Bait Shoppe's First Aid Beauty Event. For this project, we hung a lot of fluffy all-white feathers from clear monofilament wire. Although we had to use our judgment to conceal the hanging structure, everything turned out well. The product launch was widely shared on Instagram, and guests were enamored with the event captured on camera!
Hanging Greenery Installation
In your installation, employ dramatic draped greenery to create an alien sense. We designed and made this hanging garden for Intermix's Best Dressed Guest event the previous year! They have a bouquet station in addition to the hanging floral installation. We created a springtime vibe with each arrangement using lush greenery and flowers. By utilizing both an activation and an installation, attendees were actively involved in and continuously discussing the event.
Flowers Hanging From Ceiling
With hanging flowers, embrace negative space to draw in all of your guests' attention. For parties, hanging flowers is a more understated arrangement that will captivate people. B Floral caters to every kind of occasion, even ours! We knew we wanted to feature a hanging display at our B Floral Spring Media Event to elevate the occasion. We decided to suspend flowers from the ceiling to improve the venue's entryway. It would be the first thing guests saw and create the enchanted springtime atmosphere we had hoped for.
Hanging Flower and Foliage Installation
The hanging installation that blends flowers and vegetation is a timeless piece adored by many. Make sure that all of the pieces in your event décor have comparable design features to make them all work together. For their pop-up shop, Dia & Co. desired a floral curtain look in their front display. Our hanging window display had hanging floral embellishments down the length of the window, with enough negative space to allow viewers to see through to the pop-up itself. At the top of the show was heavier, textured greenery. It looked as though we were producing the effect using hung flower arrangements. The floral arrangements mainly consisted of pastel blossoms mixed with baby's breath to give the impression of delicate "wildflowers." It was exactly as magical as we had imagined the whole time we were planning!
Make a mood-setting entry for your event. A hanging floral installation was used to highlight the actual components of the product being celebrated at Satis&fy's Ketel One Botanicals Event. We used flowery components, including mint green organza. Among the hanging greenery options are many kinds of roses, stephanotis, Italian ruscus, pothos, gardenia leaf, moss, English ivy, and mokara orchids. We added the fruits—oranges, grapefruits, and peaches—infused into the vodka on top of all these gorgeous flowers. Guests adored the immersive atmosphere that the hanging entranceway creates.
Using Vines in an installation
Hanging complete garlands and vines from the ceiling will break up a static area and add to the immersive atmosphere of your event! Ceiling vines can divide a space while maintaining a unified look for event décor. Five total bases of floral garlands, extending from the ceiling to the floor, were used throughout MKG's Old Navy Spring Dress Preview space. Monochromatic flowers were used to make the greenery vines, which swirled and pooled on the ground to create a beautiful moment at the base of each piece. For the spring blossoms on each garland, we stuck to the event's color scheme!
Unique Ceiling Installation
Make a ceiling installation the focal point of your design. We utilized non-floral materials for the hanging installation at the Paypal and Venmo 2018 Christmas party, which was held in The Altman Building.
The composition consisted of several entwined birch branches. White and blue lights were included within the branches to light up the area's focal point. It made a dramatic statement because of its size and placement right above its bar.
Hanging Greenery Wall
To depict a hanging greenery wall, use thin garlands that repeat over a product display to keep things tasteful and uncomplicated. One of our favorite pieces at the Small Girls PR Betsey Johnson Press Preview was the hanging I installation! We used hanging garlands for this project, made of light foliage like ivy, ruscus, and plumosa, with tiny white rose clusters spaced equally throughout. The ga lands were arranged in a staggered pattern above the shelving exhibits, with each side against the wall tapering toward the ground. The lovely display didn't overly overpower the artwork on show. This kind of pattern would look great up against an exposed brick wall. Adding flora to a brick wall adds life to the area and gives visitors another opportunity for pictures.
Adding a hanging installation is only one method to increase the immesiveness of an event. An intricate branding wall, branded carts, a non-floral picture moment, and many more components can be used with a hanging installation to create a creative look for the entire décor. It might be a focal point that wows visitors and a photo opportunity everyone is looking for on Instagram. It's best to leave hanging installation technicalities to the PRs because they can be very taxing!
