Personal taste will play a significant role in determining how many flowers you require. Below are a couple of bouquets to get you started.
Some sizes in this range are typical for weddings and other occasions.

- bouquet for bridesmaids

The flower counts and arrangement sizes are listed from left to right:
- This large bridal bouquet measures 12” in diameter and 16” in height, with 45 flowers.
- Thirty flowers in a medium bridal bouquet are 10” in diameter and 14” tall.
- 15-flower little bridal bouquet, 8” in diameter and 12” in height

- Remember how we said earlier that personal preference will determine how many flowers you need? Let’s investigate that a bit more.
As the pictures show, these bouquets have a significant amount of filler. The following fillers are used:
- Silver Dollar Eucalyptus
- Preserved Eucalyptus Satin-Washed
- White Baby Breath
The required flowers will vary depending on the bouquet design you wish to make. Let’s assume you want a wild, quirky, and bohemian bouquet. Such bouquets are often composed of a few flowers and various kinds of filler.
You may want a more conventional bouquet with only a few filler pops here and there. Depending on the size you choose, you could need a few additional blossoms.
Let’s take a closer look at the filler in these bouquets. Baby’s breath and our satin-washed spiral eucalyptus are the only accents in each bouquet. These are more accent fillers to add some texture and color contrast. But the Preserved Silver Dollar Eucalyptus is far more abundant. Preserved silver dollar eucalyptus is the primary filler in each bouquet, with flashes of satin-washed eucalyptus added for texture and color. From left to right:
- The huge bridal bouquet has roughly two bunches of silver dollar eucalyptus.
- The medium bridal bouquet has roughly 1.5 bunches of Silver Dollar Eucalyptus.
- Around one bunch of silver dollar eucalyptus is in the tiny bridal bouquet.
- About three-quarters of silver dollar eucalyptus is included in the bridesmaid bouquet.
- About half of Silver Dollar Eucalyptus is included in the toss bouquet.
To illustrate the scale of the bouquets, the images above show them next to a typical-sized wine bottle.
