  • Lavenders with Dried Star Flowers
  • Softener Sola
  • Burlap twine
  • Floral tape
  • Floral wire
  • cut shear
  • Glue gun
  • Sola dye

STEP 1: Dye the Sola Wood Flowers

You will discover the fundamentals of coloring flowers with sola dye.

STEP 2: Stem the Sola Wood Flowers

Put hot glue on the tip of the flowery wire. Gently press into the flower’s base, then hold for a moment. Another option is to apply glue to the flower’s underside and then use the wire to pierce it.

STEP 3: Start Crafting the Boutonniere

Assemble the two little sola flowers with stems and place them at different heights. The bunch will be the centerpiece of your arrangement. Wrap the stems with floral tape.

Beginning at the rear of the flowers and working your way to the sides, add the fillers.

To add extra depth and texture, stack the fillers. Use floral tape to secure the stem.

Trim off any extra stems. Ideally, the ultimate stem length should be at least an inch or greater than two inches.

STEP 4: Wrap the Stem with Burlap Twine

Apply a small adhesive just above the flowery tape’s highest point. Trap the burlap twine around the stem until it is completely covered. Use hot glue to secure the end.

STEP 5: Insert the Boutonniere Pin to the Stem

Achievement! It’s time to pin the boutonniere.
