10 Ideas for Something Blue

After completing your Something Old, Something New, and Something Borrowed, it's time to conclude this series with Something Blue! This emblem is meant to stand for faithfulness, love, and purity. Because there are so many fantastic options, this is the simplest of the four traditions to include on your wedding day. These are my ten favorites!

1.) Everyone knows Carrie Bradshaw's famous blue satin Manolo Blahniks. Extremely jealous of shoes. Flowersarch Chelsea chose a lighter shade of Blue for her trip down the aisle.

2.) Thankfully, the days of phony, manicured brides are long gone. Even hue and natural lengths are acceptable for your wedding day! Choose a vivid pop of Avenue Maintain to highlight your ring finger, or paint your hands the palest shade possible, such as Essie's Find Me An Oasis.

3.) If Blue is one of your wedding colors, Include blue flowers in your bridal bouquet. Consider delphinium, thistle, or hydrangeas. Selecting the few inherently blue flowers is crucial. Avoid colored or tinted items at all costs! Oh no! Wrap your flowers with a blue ribbon if none of these appeal to you or if you prefer a classic white arrangement.

4.) As Nicolet and Greg did, serve a distinctive drink and label it Something Blue. Choose a recipe that asks for blue curacao if you want your beverage's hue to be true to its name. Otherwise, get a blueberry mojito or something similar.

5.) Request that your seamstress use blue thread to embroider a heart or wedding date into your dress or slip underneath!

6.) Regarding your clothing, Victoria's Secret offers some sly blue underwear. Consider delaying clicking on that link until later. I must make this post-SFW.

7.) Heather wore the most adorable white pajama set with a navy trim while preparing for her special day. Love Ophelia's Serendipity is available in the most exquisite shade of Robin's egg blue if you'd rather wear a robe.

8.) Get some sapphires for yourself, just like Kate Middleton. This gemstone exhibits the deepest blue hue, even in its most minor form. Wear it in a bracelet or earrings!

9.) Are you determined to use blue on your wedding day? Could you put it on your maids? These colors—from icy Blue to blue-gray to tranquility to cobalt and even navy—will make your girls look stunning in a bridesmaid dress.

10.) You may still participate in the ritual while wearing the color in a very understated way with a light blue garter, such as this one from Hanky Panky.
